BRIEF HISTORY OF BUKURU DYC
BUKURU DYC HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE:
Bukuru DYC (District Youth Council) was one of the DYCs carved out of the then Jos DYC in 2004 following the splitting of Jos DCC (District Church Council) into five (5) DCC’s namely: Bukuru, Jos, Miango, Zabolo and Zagun DCC’s. Before the creation of the DCC’s, then Jos DYC under the leadership of Vro. Kefas John Split the DYC into five (5) zones (i.e. zone A – Zabolo, B – Zagun, C – Miango, D – Jos & E – Bukuru).
